Teppei Nagoe
Teppei Nagoe, born on September 5, 1997, in Tokyo, Japan, is an experienced motorcycle racer in the All Japan Road Race Championship. With a decade-long tenure at HARC-PRO, Nagoe enters his fourth consecutive year competing in the JSB1000 class in 2024.
Background
Nagoe’s racing career began with notable achievements, including podium finishes in the CBR Dream Cup Tsukuba and CBR Dream Cup Suzuka Grand Championship in 2013. He continued to demonstrate his potential with a third-place ranking in the Asia Dream Cup in 2014 and consistent top rankings in subsequent years in the All Japan Championship ST600 category.
In 2019, Nagoe claimed the championship title in the All Japan Championship J-GP2 category, establishing himself as a formidable competitor.
While maintaining a solid performance in the All Japan Road Race Championship JSB1000 category with fifth-place finishes in 2020 and 2021, Nagoe faced a setback in 2022, finishing 15th overall. However, he rebounded in 2023 with a fourth-place finish in the championship standings.
Nagoe’s international experience includes a notable second-place finish in the iconic Suzuka 8 Hours race in 2023 as part of the SDG Honda Racing team.
In 2024, Nagoe will also represent Honda at the 45th Suzuka 8 Hours in July alongside five-time Suzuka 8-hour winner Takumi Takahashi and LCR MotoGP rider Johann Zarco
